Program Manager - Rare Disease, Hybrid Sales Team
Primary Purpose of Position
Remedy Group is seeking an experienced Manager to support a team of hybrid pharmaceutical sales rep specialists focused in Rare Disease. The Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of the team in their multi-channel sales, marketing and education plan to obtain access to drive sales by genereating qualified leads for the end client. Position will be supported by Director of Operations. The Project Manager will oversee a team of fourteen (14) Hybrid Rare Disease Specialists engaged in profiling assigned healthcare provider (HCP) targets to identify those managing patients with a specific rare disease. The Manager will ensure strategic execution, compliance, and optimal team performance in support of the clients' commercialization efforts as well as internal personnel responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of 14 Sales Account Representative and ensuring effective
execution of both virtual and field deployment plans
• Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic initiative adherence, call plan routing, and overall team
effectiveness.
• Direct the team in profiling and validating assigned HCP accounts to determine if they are treating specific
type of patient populations.
• Ensure systematic collection and documentation of key contact information, rep access requirements, and
account protocols.
• Oversee virtual deployment activities, including daily phone calls to assigned targets, validation of patient
status, and appointment scheduling for field sales counterparts.
• Manage field deployment activities, including in-person visits to unvalidated targets, further validation, and
opportunity identification for product introduction.
• Managing each team member and their call quality, effectiveness and performance
• Meeting internally with key members of management as well as directly with the client on a regular basis
• Regularly reports on team activities, profiling outcomes, and appointment scheduling.
• Documentation of compliance training completion and adherence.
• Coordinate and support CRM updates reflecting account profiling and validation status.
• Mange to and review of performance metrics and recommendations for process improvement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with HCPs and patient data.
Qualifications & Requirements
• BA/BS degree required with a minimum 5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical
or healthcare industry
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a virtual environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on detail and quality
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, regulatory requirements, and industry
standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage remote teams
• Familiarity with CRM databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues
• Excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills
• Successful experience in Lead Generation preferred
• Virtual/Inside sales experience preferred
• CRM/Database management experience
• Highly proficient within Microsoft applications such as Office, Word, Excel, including vast knowledge within
MS Outlook and Teams
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Adaptable, solution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
• Creating and presenting results to key stake holders
• Proven record of managing teams or multiple groups
