Clinical Education Trainer

Primary Purpose of Position

The CET will have responsibility for providing training and ongoing educational support to Patients, Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and office staff members on disease state knowledge, as applicable, and the safe utilization of Client’s product(s). Product education and training will be conducted with strict adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Major Duties of Position


  • Conduct initial face-to-face (in person or via an approved virtual platform) training on Client’s product(s) to Patients who have requested such training for the purpose of ensuring safe utilization of Product(s).

  • Conduct Patient follow-up training sessions (in person, via approved virtual platform or via telephone) in intervals, determined by Client, to support the Patient’s learning and his/her ability to effectively and safely use Product(s).

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key HCP customers; provide Product education to HCPs and Office staff as requested.

  • Coordinate and communicate with HCP offices regarding Patient training on Client’s Product(s).

  • Utilize Remedy and Client’s software systems to document initial Patient Product training and follow-up sessions.

  • Answer Patient questions regarding Product(s).

  • Utilize only educational materials approved and provided by Client when interacting with Patients, HCPs and Office staff.

  • Document all Patient education and training activity within Remedy and Client’s software systems within required timelines.

  • Conduct Virtual training and support sessions via approved virtual platform as requested by the patient.

  • Report all Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints as reported by Patient or HCP/Office staff according to Client policy guidelines and within required time frame.​

  • Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner including but not limited to: emails, field activity summaries as requested, and expense reports.

  • Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments as required by Remedy and Client within specified time frame.

  • Maintain professional registration and/or licensure as required by applicable state laws.

  • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage as required by Remedy.

  • Exercise sound judgment and oversight to ensure integrity and compliance with Client and Remedy policies and procedures in all activities and communications.

  • Foster Remedy Group Vision, Core Values and Strong Culture to provide exceptional service to Client and Grow as an individual.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred or education commensurate with the position requirements below

  • Current and valid credentials as health care professional (i.e. registered nurse, registered dietitian)

  • Preferred minimum of 2 years’ Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Diabetes experience

  • Demonstrate a history of a high degree of learning agility.

  • Self-starter with high personal motivation

  • Knowledge of product adoption process with patients

  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate teamwork among colleagues and employees

  • Excellent oral and written and virtual communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based tools

  • Travel within designated geography up to 75%, may be asked to travel outside of assigned geography
